Veterans Affairs/VA Disability

Our Nation's military veterans understood that they were taking on dangerous work, volunteering for service. But they counted on American to come through with support if they were injured or disabled. 

So many, though, when faced with the major impacts of a service-related injury and disability on their lives and the lives of their family, find nothing but a bureaucratic maze of red-tape when they attempt to obtain support from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  And to make matters worse, they often fall victim to unscrupulous lawyers and firms who offer to help them, and proceed to take a large chunk of money due and owing the Veteran.

The Hood Legal Group is not that kind of firm. We selectively donate our time and legal assistance to those Veterans who find themselves hitting roadblocks with the VA. We coordinate with VFW claims officers in processing disability claims. And if a VA appeal comes into the picture, we assist with the legal representation necessary to maximize chances of success.  And we do it pro bono - we neither seek nor accept payment for this work.
